We are delighted to be working hard to go live with phase 1 of the new website and forum, with phase 2 planned for 2021.
The website is the first stop for many veterans of the Regulating Branch and for present members of the RN Police to connect with their heritage and to bring their former and current experiences of a life in a blue suit to our attention, as the landscape changes and technology plays an ever more pivotal role.
When the time comes, take time to find your way around the site and content to learn more as I mention new additions. Our news for example, offers updates and SITREP will be our new “go to” for urgent notifications, with more details available across the site through the noticeboard, and other key areas, the Association Journal linked to the familiar Hearsay Herald and community news section will touch on the amazing efforts taking place across the community.
Our forum set in the membership area, has been made easier to access using a single sign on, offers real time contact and the opportunity to catch up, discuss and share a dit or two, debate current events, within reason, and find out news about old Oppos, ships and future plans.
Our galleries touch on a wealth of memories, members careers and lives and a snapshot into life in the Royal Navy and our Specialisation, past and present.
Whether passing through, researching or a member we hope you will find our website, enjoyable and informative.

The constant “behind the scenes” involvement by all members of the committee is the reason that anything ever gets done and, on behalf of the Membership, I am deeply grateful that their hearts continue to thrust the Association towards a bigger, brighter and rewarding future.
They are making changes to the existing order of things to meet inevitable change and the needs of our Membership. They achieve this, not by conforming to a norm, but taking innovative measures relevant to their own objectives. This diversity of good practice should be an aspect of the freedom to organise and regularise our affairs in the way the committee deems most effective in the achievement of its aims”.
