The JOIN US registration and validation process for new membership applications
There are two branches of membership. One type of membership which is sold (paid membership subscription) and one type of membership which is nominated (free subscription) by the Regulating Branch and Royal Navy Police Association.
All new applications for membership paid or nominated, will follow the same registration process. The validation process and time required to validate will depend on the membership level selected. We will also carry out the relevant security and validation of service and by association checks and you be kept informed by email at key steps along the way.
An email address is required to maximise the benefit of the new website. Application requests without an email should be made in the first instance to ask@rba93.com or directly through a member of the Association Committee. You can also write to the Regulating Branch & Royal Navy Police Association at the address in the contact list.
Once online membership has been approved, an email link will be sent to you to initiate payment and to choose your payment type.
Serving members will be charged and re-imbursed in accordance with Serving Member policy, once service details are validated and approved. This can take 5 – 10 days and is dependant on bank or payment service.
Annual renewal process for existing members
Memberships renew Annually on the 1st June and a reminder will be sent out requesting payment 2 months before the due date. You can continue to pay via Standing Order, please organise this via your bank or, if preferred, you can select to pay via the automatic payment system via Stripe. There is a small increase for automatic payments via Stripe due to additional processing costs (see Pricing below).
If you have any questions regarding membership or the online process, please contact the Membership Secretary via email or to ask@rba93.com or via onlinesupport@rba93.com.
In the case of Honorary and Widows and Widower Membership, you will be contacted by membership and online support to ensure that your membership is transferred to the new membership profile with ease.
