Chairman's review of the Change of Provost Marshal Ceremony
Wednesday 12th August saw the ceremony, in the D-Day Map Room at Southwick Park, that marked the handing over of the baton of Provost Marshal (Navy) & Chief Officer of the Royal Navy Police from Commander Lizzie Grant MA RN to Commander Ronni McClaren MSc MCIPD RN.
The Association offers its sincere thanks to Lizzie who has been an exceptional supporter of the Association throughout her tenure as PM(N) and in particular in her role as Chair of the Museum Sub-Committee and Association Committee Member, where her wise counsel has been of great value to both the President and Chairman of the Association. We wish her well in her next role as Deputy Provost Marshal Serious Crime, and offer our heartfelt congratulations on her impending promotion to Captain RN. We are delighted that Lizzie has chosen to continue to serve as an Association Committee Member.
The Association offers its warmest congratulations to Ronni on her promotion to Commander, on her succession to the role of Provost Marshal (Navy), and looks forward to establishing a cooperative and truly supportive relationship with her and her exceptionally professional team that make up the Royal Navy Police Branch, growing numbers of whom are joining the Association to play their part in the future ownership and protection of the legacy of the Police Branch of the Royal Navy, which stretches back over three centuries. We look forward to supporting you in any way we can, but in particular in the fast-paced change that the Branch and indeed the Royal Navy is experiencing.
