A formidable gathering took place on Friday 12th August 2022 at the historical location of HMS Victory, Portsmouth to signal the handing over of the baton of RN Policing from Commander Dean Oakey, to Commander Andy Williams, newly appointed Provost Marshal, Chief of Policing.
The ceremony took place in Admiral Nelson’s Cabin onboard HMS Victory and the RB & RNP Association was represented by the President David S C Lodrick and RNPRB Museum Curator William Dick on this memorable day.
As Chairman, and on behalf of Members of the Regulating Branch and Royal Navy Association, I would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to Commander Andy Williams, Provost Marshall as he embarks on a new stage in his naval career and look forward to further developing our close ties.
Equally, I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to Commander Dean Oakey for his continued support of the Association in his role as PM and friendship.
